It’s the season of New Year’s Resolutions and we gave our goals for the year a lot of thought. As your locally owned and operated solar installation company, this new year brings new opportunities and new ways to accomplish our goals to: 

• • Help our community save more money on electricity by producing their own energy 
  • Do our part in helping the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and increasing the amount of power created by renewable energy

Just as important as sharing our resolutions as company is also sharing our employee’s “why” that motivates us all as we work to continuously improve as a company. Take a look at our resolutions and feel free to let us know any ideas you have to help us achieve them! 

Helping Our Community Save More Money

• • Make information on how solar can help reduce monthly electric bills more accessible. My aunt is looking to retire but worried about mounting electric bills after doing so. Hearing her story makes me want to make sure others understand how solar can cut electricity costs for their family
  • Help our community understand all of the benefits of going solar. There are a lot of misunderstandings on solar and I want to make sure information that is needed is available 
  • Increasing the way I support commercial projects as they have the ability to free up resources for a company to reinvest in their employees and their growth 
  • Looking for ways to partner with local businesses to help our local economy
  • Build a deeper connection with potential customers so they feel comfortable and encouraged to ask all of their questions so they truly understand what solar can do for them
  • Staying in touch with current customers I have lost contact with to see how I can better serve them 

Helping Our Environment

• • Increasing my impact in the community to help others by making a difference in the present that also has a long lasting effect. I want to set a positive example that others in our community can follow
  • Every year I do a New Year’s ocean plunge and this year the ocean was the warmest I can remember. Working for Isaksen Solar is a way to help fight climate change I am seeing in my life.
  • I love skiing and I want to make sure my kids have days of fresh powder. By helping our area go solar I feel like I am doing my part in making this happen
  • Everyone knows the environment is a problem but I want to make sure I am taking ownership in doing my part to make a difference
