Focus on running your business while we handle the complicated stuff: permits, incentives, operations. We’ll take care of it all and schedule an installation day when everything’s all set.

Step 4

We’ll install your system in one to two days and cause as minimal of a disruption as possible. We’ll let you know when you can expect your system to be ready for activation.

Step 5

You’ll see savings in the first billing period and can start making money with renewable energy incentives. Operate energy independent and reap the benefits of solar power. We’ll be just a phone call away if you ever need us and will monitor your system from our end to ensure it’s properly producing.

We Know It Works, Because We Did It!

Breaking Down the Benefits

Tax Credits

There are many incentives and tax credits that a business owner can file for while adopting solar. We ensure our customers get the lowest price for their system by applying for all eligible incentives and maintaining a strong relationship with utility companies and government agencies.

Depreciation

MARCS depreciation allows business owners to deduct a substantial portion of their solar system’s cost from their taxes over a short period. This enables the reduction of income tax and increases the business’s cash flow in the early years following the installation.

Highest Return on Investment

Due to these incredible incentives and depreciation benefits, business owners can reap the highest return on investment out of all solar adopters.

Eliminate Electric Bill

Business owners will see a signifiant decrease and potential elimination of their electric bill after switching to solar. Systems that are sized for the energy consumption of the business will be able to offset all demand from the grid and receive $0 bills or even surplussed credits.

Carbon Neutral Operations

Businesses looking to develop their eco-conscious brand can consider solar their greatest renewable energy investment. Solar panels can completely eliminate a business’s dependence on fossil fuels and non-renewable energy, allowing for net-zero carbon emissions.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the entire solar installation process?

The timeframe of you signing your contract to the day of activation can range from three to six months. Installation day itself will last a maximum of two days, weather permitting.

How much does an average commercial solar system cost?

Commercial solar can be more expensive than residential solar systems as they’re usually much bigger. The average commercial solar system is about 100 kW. This system can range from $100,000 to $300,000 depending on the location of the installation, the type of solar panels and other equipment used, the complexity of the installation, and any available incentives or rebates.

Do solar panels need maintenance?

It’s common for commercial solar systems to require more maintenance than residential systems. This is because oftentimes, the system is installed on a flat roof which will not clear snow and debris off as easily on its own.

It’s typically recommended that commercial systems be professionally inspected once per year and cleaned twice per year. A thick layer or grime or dirt can heavily interfere with the panels’ energy production if left on for more than a few days.

How long do commercial solar systems last?

Commercial solar systems have an average lifespan of 25 to 30 years. Most panels and supplementary equipment come with a warranty, guaranteeing sufficient production and operation for at least 10 years.

At Isaksen Solar, all our panels come with a 25 year warranty and our inverters and batteries have a 10 year warranty.
